THE YGAF INC. STORY

YGAF, Inc. was founded by D.M. Anderson in 2023 when she realized the economy was hitting mature adults particularly hard. Too many individuals in her life were having difficulty finding jobs, either to augment their retirement income to pay bills or to live off since they either couldn’t retire or had been forced to come out of retirement. And although there were plenty of jobs available, few were suited to mature adults and even fewer paid decent wages.

So she decided she would find a way to create “opportunities” for those individuals to get paid a decent wage doing something they would love:  helping others.

What she ended up doing, though, was creating something far more valuable to a lot more people than she ever imagined possible.

With the creation of YGAF, Inc., families in need and individuals who need a friend now have somewhere to turn.

Our “friends”, as they are called, are parents, grandparents, and mature adults from all walks of life who are eager to make new friends while helping others. By meeting with people in long-term care facilities or in Senior Living Communities to either read to them or just to visit with them or by walking with an individual at an in-house fitness facility or a stand alone staffed fitness facility, our Friends are providing a valuable service that they can feel good about while also earning sufficient funds to augment their income.
