For those living in Senior Living Communities or other long-term care facilities who have no one to visit them or to read their favorite books to them, why not give our Book Friends a call?
We have many Book Friends who are available to come read to or just visit with individuals who are alone. Acceptable facilities are Senior Living Communities, Senior Care Centers, Hospitals, and long-term senior care facilities or long-term coma care centers.
Our Book Friends are mature, well-seasoned adult readers and they love talking with others. They’re ready to share a book or a conversation with you or your loved one when relatives can’t be there.
Book Friends are also available for those overnight shifts for loved ones who need round-the-clock supervision. Although Book Friends don’t provide medical services, they are available to sit with your loved one to be there for when they awaken or to alert the staff when needed.
